BYD Dolphin is positioned as a pure electric small car and was first launched in August 2021. It has launched multiple versions including 2021, 2023, 2024 and the latest 2025 models.

It is worth mentioning that on July 4 this year, BYD’s 8 millionth new energy vehicle rolled off the production line, which was also a Dolphin model.

At the same time, BYD launched the 2025 Dolphin model, priced at 99,800-129,800 yuan, of which the knight version power battery pack has been upgraded to 60.48kWh, and the CLTC comprehensive operating condition pure electric cruising range can reach 520 kilometers; the power battery pack of the active version model has been upgraded to 44.928kWh, and the pure electric cruising range of CLTC comprehensive working conditions can reach 420 kilometers. In addition, there are also 420-kilometer free version and fashion version, with a price range of 99,800 yuan to 129,800 yuan.

The 2025 Dolphin has significant upgrades in configuration, but the price remains unchanged. Its starting range has been increased by 118 kilometers to 420 kilometers, and a 520-kilometer range version is also available. The maximum power of the new Dolphin has been increased to 150kW, which significantly improves the vehicle's endurance and power performance.

Compared with the 2024 Dolphin, the 2025 model has significantly improved battery life and battery capacity.
