At the CES 2022 exhibition, Chevrolet Silverado EV made its world premiere, proposing RST and more entry-level and practical WT models. The RST model will be launched in the fall, and the WT will not arrive until 2023. The starting price of the WT model is 41,595 US dollars (approximately RMB 264,700), excluding the destination fee of US$1,695. The car is now officially open for reservation.

In terms of appearance, the Chevrolet Silverado EV adopts the latest design language of the Chevrolet family, with a large closed grille and a split grille. The lights, through-type daytime running lights and the illuminated Chevrolet logo all make it look very sharp.

Because it is positioned as a full-size pickup truck, the vehicle looks very burly. It adopts a double-row design, has ample interior space, and has excellent carrying capacity. The interior space is versatile, the rear seats are adjustable, and it is equipped with a Multi-Flex tailgate to maximize practicality.

As for the interior, although it is a pickup truck that highlights practicality, it still adopts many of the latest design concepts, such as minimalist design, which simplifies physical buttons as much as possible. It adopts a dual-screen design. The RST model has a 17.0-inch central control screen, an 11-inch digital instrument display, and a 14-inch head-up display. WT is not that complicated, but will also be equipped with an LCD central control screen.

In addition, both RST and WT models are equipped with a PowerBase charging system, equipped with 10 sockets, which can provide power for tools, toys or houses, and can also charge other electric vehicles, which is very practical.

In terms of power, the Silverado EV will adopt a dual-motor layout, with a combined maximum power of 673 horsepower and a maximum torque of 1,063 N·m. The maximum power of low-end models will reach 517 Horsepower, maximum torque 833 N·m.

RST also offers features such as rear-wheel steering, automatic adaptive air suspension, super cruise and something called Multi-Flex Midgate, stay tuned.
