According to overseas media reports, the Jeep Grand Cherokee L was recalled due to a problem with the headlight lighting module, with a total of about 37,000 units.
It is reported that this module problem may cause 1 or 2 headlights to not work. What's more serious is that it does not meet federal regulatory requirements. There have been no related traffic accidents caused by this problem. Starting from January 28, 2022, Jeep will notify car owners to enter the store to rewrite the software program for free.
In October this year, Jeep Grand Cherokee L was also recalled due to headlight problems, with a total number of about 7,000 units. At that time, models not equipped with automatic high beams were recalled because the high beams were difficult to turn on. Currently, Jeep is also affected by the chip supply shortage, and the Jeep Grand Cherokee L does not yet provide air suspension configuration.
